The petitioner, who is an accused in C.C.No.42 of 2022, has filed this petition, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.42 of 2022, pending on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Orthanadu, Thanjavur District.

2. Today, when this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in this case, the petitioner has been acquitted by the trial Court on 28.02.2024. He has also made an endorsement to the effect.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
