O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent to implement the order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2709/2017/C dated 05/07/2017 to conduct the election in A1-Jamia Jumma Masjith https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sunnathul Jamath, LKB Nagar, Sakkimangalam, Madurai, by giving adequate police protection and consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2018.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that both parties have appeared before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur on 26.04.2018 and given statement that they will give their cooperation to conduct election. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 26.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.2047/2018/C to that effect, for a perusal of the Court.

3.In view of the said proceedings, it is open to the parties to conduct election, in the light of the proceedings dated 05.07.2017 issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer. If necessary, they can seek police protection before the authorities concerned. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
