ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 25.05.2017 and 27.12.2017 regarding cancellation of patta bearing number 519 in survey No.791/8 at Kuttathupatti Village, Palam RajakkamPatti, Dindigul District. 2.Heard Mr.S.R.Anbarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Notice to the third respondent is dispensed with in view of the nature of the order to be passed.

3.According to the petitioner, earlier, the petitioner said to have filed an application before the first respondent seeking to cancel the patta granted in favour of the third respondent on 25.05.2017. Thereafter, the first respondent, vide his proceedings dated 07.06.2017, directed the Tahsildar, the second respondent herein to submit a report. Thereafter, no order has been passed. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the permits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the third respondent.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
