This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to conduct a fair investigation and also file the final report in connection with the case in Cr.No.266 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police as contemplated under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C., within the stipulated period fixed.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the accused filed a petition in Crl.O.P(MD) No.6781 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of 2016 to quash the First Information Report and this Court by an order dated 22.04.2016 granted interim stay. 3.Since the FIR has been stayed by this Court, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted, at this stage.
