This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in respect of C.C.No.184 of 2014 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, Madurai and quash the proceedings against the petitioner alone. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that after conducting the trial in C.C.No.184 of 2014 on the file of the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, Madurai District, the case was ended in acquittal on 07.08.2018. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

4. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
