This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal dance Programme on 22.01.2018 at 07.00pm., to 11.00pm., in the festival of Arulmighu Sri Navaneetha Krishnan Thirukovil Thiruvizha at Vadaku Salaikramam, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard, Mr.V.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmuga selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Aadal Paadal Dance Programme. This year it is scheduled to be held on 22.01.2018 at 07.00pm., to 11.00pm., and for that, he gave a representation on 04.01.2018 to the respondents. But, so far, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the said representation has not been considered by the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 04.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 21.01.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
