Respondent/Petitioner PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to call for records in M.C.No.140 of 2014, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi and quash the same insofar as this petitioners are concerned.

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for records in M.C.No.140 of 2014, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi and quash the same insofar as these petitioners are concerned.

2.By consent, the main Criminal Original Petition itself taken up for hearing.

3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Counsel for the respondent.

4.The only point raised by the learned Counsel for the petitioners is that earlier, the respondent herein gave a complaint before the Social Welfare Officer, in which there was no specific allegation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.The said contention cannot be a ground to quash the proceedings. The second respondent seeks only protection. It is for the Court concerned, to look into the same. The proceedings are summary in nature. Therefore, there is no interference requires at this stage. 6.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also dismissed. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi is directed to dispose of the case in M.C.No.140 of 2014 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Considering the submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, personal appearance of the petitioners before the Court below is dispensed with until and unless the same is required.
