PRAYER :- for bail in Crime No.29 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2020 for the offences under Section 294(b), 506(ii) and 509 of I.P.C. r/w. Section 67 of Information Technology Act, in Crime No.29 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police. Hence, he seeks bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the victim were on intimate terms. Subsequently the relationship broke down and the defacto complainant got married to another person. Angered by the same, the petitioner is said to have seriously embarrassed the victim by sending through whatsapp highly embarrassing images of the victim to her mother as well as other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.3790 of 2020 relatives. As a result, the victim has been put to great stress and her marital life itself is under threat. The conduct of the petitioner is beyond condonation. Hence, I am not inclined to grant relief. The respondent is directed to file the final report at the earliest.

4. With this direction, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
