Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to record the 15 feet width pathway created in Survey No.17/1 in Karenthalpatti Village, Thirukaalppatti Panchayat, Mathavarayanpatti Group, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District in Revenue Records of Field Map, A-Register etc by 23.11.2023, within the period as stipulated by this Court. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that the petitioner's request was already negatived by the District Collector, Sivagangai vide proceedings dated 29.01.2022 and the revision petition filed by the second petitioner Meena was rejected by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.303, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 20.06.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners have filed the re-hear petition before the Government. Unless the petitioners succeed in the said review petition whose maintainability I am not quite sure, the request made in this writ petition cannot be accepted. 2/4
