ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the third respondent, his men or agents, or any person associated with him based on the representations of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2022 and 21.12.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has purchased the property, which was allotted by the Tiruchirappalli Housing Co-operative Society in the year 1995 to the petitioner. He would further submit that the third respondent is also claiming the right over the property and with regard to the same, suit in O.S.Nos. 495 and 498 of 2017, are pending before the trial Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the representation given 2/4

by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and both the parties did not appear for enquiry.

4. Since it is a civil dispute between the parties, the petitioner can work out his remedy by appropriate proceedings. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
