O R D E R
This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, to dispose of the proceedings in S.C.No.15 of 2013 on the file of the District and Sessions Fast Track Mahila Court, Sivagangai, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that a complaint was preferred by the petitioner on 07.10.2011 against the accused for the offences under Sections 147, 366, 328, 376 of I.P.C., and Section 4 of TNPHW Act. It is further stated that though the case was taken on file after the filing of the charge sheet in S.C.No.15 of 2013, there was no progress. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and serious nature of crime, this Court is of the view that a suitable direction should be issued to the learned District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Sivagangai District, to dispose of the proceedings in S.C.No.15 of 2013.
5. The Criminal Original petition is allowed and the learned District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Sivagangai District, is directed to dispose of the proceedings in S.C.No.15 of 2013 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
