ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself if taken up for final disposal, at the stage of admission. 3.The petitioner is a retired employee of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department. The petitioner was visited with an Order of Punishment and a sum of Rs.3000/- has been ordered to be recovered from the petitioner's pension for a period of three years. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed a Revision Petition before the first respondent on 19.09.2016. In this regard, he has given a representation dated 19.02.2018 to the first respondent.

4.The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass orders one way or the other.

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
