ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] Pursuant to the order dated 17.03.2023, when the Habeas Corpus Petition is taken up for hearing today, the respondent police has produced the detenue before this Court.

2. When we enquired, she has stated that she is a major running 20 years. Admittedly, she claimed to have married the third respondent, namely, Vijay, S/o.Bose and they were hitherto residing at Karnataka and now she wanted to go to the matrimonial home, ie., the third respondent's house, as the parents of the third respondent accepted the marriage but not the parents of the detenue, ie., the petitioner herein. The detenue also apprehends that there may be some life threat from the side of the petitioner or the family or

relatives of the detenue and therefore, she seeks police protection, for which, we have advised her to give proper complaint before the jurisdictional police.

3. In view of the afore-stated, since there has been no illegal custody, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
