ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks correction of his date of birth in the Engineering Degree Consolidated Mark Statement issued by the first respondent.

3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the Anna University states that the details regarding the petitioner's date of birth as set out in his mark statement will have to confirm to the date of birth of the petitioner as set out in the other certificates obtained by him.

4. I can very well understand the objections raised by the first respondent. At this stage, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he has already moved the other authorities for correcting the date of birth set out in his 10th standard mark statement and diploma mark statement. If the petitioner obtains the revised mark statement from the other authorities, the petitioner can approach the first respondent with a fresh application. The first respondent shall make necessary corrections based on the revised mark statement of the petitioner.
