This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Cr.No.8 of 2022 pending on the file of the first respondent police as against the petitioners. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that the first respondent police completed investigation in Crime No.8 of 2022 and also filed final report before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Srivaikundam and the same is yet to be taken on file. 3.In view of the above said development, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. The Judicial Magistrate No.I, Srivaikundam is directed to process the final report within a time stipulated and if cognizable offence is made out, take the case on file. The petitioners are at liberty to 2/4

challenge the final report if they still aggrieved by the contents of the final report. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
