Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent herein to conclude the enquiry commenced in Na.Ka.B5/17669/2023 on the file of the first respondent in respect of the land comprised in S.No.231/53 situated at Uganthankudi Village, R.S.Mangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District within a stipulated time period in accordance with law on the basis of the representation dated 20.11.2024.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of expeditious disposal of the pending enquiry in his appeal on the file of the first respondent. 2.The petitioner's appeal has been pending with the first respondent from May 2023. The petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 20.11.2024 seeking an early disposal with the said appeal. According to the petitioner, the appeal is pending on the file of the first respondent without any progress.

3.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 4.The first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner pertaining to the lands in S.No.231/53 at Uganthankudi Village, R.S.Mangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the respondents 2 to 4 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from 2/4

the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
