ORDER
The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the police personnel attached to the Vasudevanallur Police Station. 2.This Court went through the entire records. This Court strongly felt that the petitioner Karumalai deserves to be rendered substantial justice.
The petitioner has alleged that Thiru.Sudaroli, Sub Inspector of Police, misbehaved with him. 3.Today both are present. This Court, in the presence of the petitioner, directs the second respondent to close the FIR registered against the petitioner. The second respondent gives an undertaking that the closure report will be filed within a period of few days. The jurisdictional Magistrate is directed to accept the same and also record RCS. Thiru.Sudaroli undertakes to submit a hand written letter of apology addressed to the petitioner herein. This Court makes it clear that under any circumstances, the petitioner herein will not be put to any kind of harassment at any point of time in future. If this undertaking is breached, this Court will not hesitate to take a serious view of the matter. 4.Recording these developments, this criminal original petition is disposed of. Since this criminal original petition has been disposed of by consent of both parties, it is made clear that this order will not have any negative bearing on the service of the said Sudaroli.
