O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 03.08.2018 at 9.00 p.m., to 04.08.2018 at 09.00 a.m., for one day going to held infront of Rajavadivu Amman Kovil at Poolam, Tirunelveli District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 19.06.2018 for conducting Kabadi Tournament, at Rajavadivu Amman Kovil at Poolam, Tirunelveli District. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner's representation is pending for consideration, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

5.Considering the above submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
