O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner by way of enquiry without any First Information Report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that one Thangaraj gave a complaint against the petitioner in connection with some payment and that the petitioner is being put to harassment without any First Information Report. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is forced to settle some amount to the said Thangaraj by conducting "Katta" Panchayat.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) however, on instructions submitted that the complaint was given by one Thangaraj as against the petitioner and though the petitioner was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

issued summons, without appearing for the enquiry on the dates prescribed in the summons, the petitioner has approached this Court for a direction. He further submitted that the petitioner never attended the enquiry in connection with the complaint given by the said Thangaraj.

5. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the Criminal Original petition is closed. However, the respondents 1 and 2 shall not harass the petitioner, if the petitioner appears before the second respondent pursuant to the summons issued to him. The petitioner shall also co-operate for completing the enquiry.
