Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2.The petitioner is employed in the National Insurance Company Limited. He is also serving as the General Secretary of All India SC/ST General Insurance Employees Welfare Association representing the interest of SC/ST General Insurance employees. According to him, the Managements of the various respondent Insurance Companies have been interpreting the promotion policy to the determent of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe employees. In this regard, he has given a representation dated 15.03.2018. 3.The petitioner is directed to enclose a fresh copy of the said representation along with this order while submitting the same to the respondents 1 to 5. The respondents 1 to 5 are directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents have to individually consider the said representation. The respondents 1 to 5 are also directed to
communicate to the petitioner the out come of the such disposal. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. It is open to the authority to pass appropriate orders one way or the other. 4.The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
