ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned FIR in Cr.No.164/2017 on the file of the 1st respondent Police and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that on 13.03.2017, on the basis of the information, the Police parties went to the occurrence place, where, the protest was conducted without prior permission, the Police arrested the people who participated in the protest, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner appeared and has given an undertaking that he will not indulge in any kind of offence in future and on the basis of the said undertaking, further action was dropped.

3. Since further action has been dropped, on the basis of the undertaking, nothing survives for further consideration. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.

4. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 10.03.2023 NCC :
