The petitioner, who is the sole accused, seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.134 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Nagercoil.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) for the State.

3. After arguing for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with. 4.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD) Nos.1 & 2 of 2015 are also closed. However, all the issues are left open to be raised before the Court below. Considering the submission made, personal appearance of the petitioner before the Court below is dispensed with until and unless the same is required.
