PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to call for the records in S.C.No.319 of 2014 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Court, Tirunelveli District and to quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records in S.C.No.319 of 2014 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Court, Tirunelveli District and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent.

3. After making submissions for a while, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's appearance before the trial Court may be dispensed with through out the enquiry.

4. Considering the said submissions, the appearance of the petitioner in S.C.No.319 of 2014 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Court, Tirunelveli, is dispensed with, until and unless the same is specifically required by the Courts below. Further, the learned III Additional Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli is directed to dispose of S.C.No.319 of 2014 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
