This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for conduct the "Adal Padal dance programme" on 15.01.2018 at 07.00p.m., to 11.00p.m., on the eve of the Thai Pongal festival at Keelapoongudi, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard, Mr.V.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmuga selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Adal Padal. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct Adal Padal on 15.01.2018 at 07.00p.m., to 11.00p.m and for that, he gave a representation on 03.01.2018 to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondents, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 14.01.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
