This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.55 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that final report itself was filed on 14.03.2017. He further submitted that though the final report is yet to be taken on file, a copy of the same is also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner today before this Court.
