PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying, to direct the Respondent police to file the final report in Crime No. 16 of 2019 for the offence under Section 294(b), 354(d) and 506(i) IPC on the file of the Respondent Police within the time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.16 of 2019 on the file of the Respondent Police. The Petitioner had filed this Petition seeking direction for completion of the investigation and filing of the final report before the Court concerned.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions of the Respondent, submits that even though the case was registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 506(i) and 354D IPC and Section 67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the final report is ready to file dropping the charge under Section 67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Respondent is directed to complete the investigation and lay the final report before the Court concerned within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
