(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the petitioner's daughter namely Karthika, D/o. Karuppasamy aged about 22 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. The petitioner is the father of the detenue. The petitioner got married one Muthukaruppan and thereafter they got separated by wasy of decree of divorce. While being so, from 01.02.2026 she was missing from the house, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent registered First Information Report under 'Woman Missing'. On enquiry the second respondent found that the petitioner's daughter had again gone with her ex.husband on her own volition,therefore she is not under illegal detention of any one.
