For Petitioner : Mr.R.V.Rajkumar For Respondents : Mr.D.Sivaraman * * * * * COMMON ORDER [Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.] The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petitions to issue writs of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant an increment to the petitioners for passing the Account Test for Subordinate Officers - Part I, from the date of successful completion of the said Test by considering their representation dated 10.01.2020. It is the case of the petitioners that though the petitioners have given a representation dated 10.01.2020 claiming one increment for passing the Account Test for Subordinate Officers - Part I, the first respondent has not considered the same. Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned Counsel taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' applications and pass orders in accordance with law.
Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, we direct the respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 10.01.2020 and pass orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
