This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C,praying for direction to the first respondent to appoint an investigation officer not below rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police Under Rule 7 of the Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes(Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995 to conduct investigation and file final report within the shortest possible time in Crime No. 141 of 2014 dated 15.08.2014 on the file of the second respondent police station.

Recording the submission of learned Government Advocate (criminal side) that the District Superintendent of Police, Karur District, the first respondent herein, is In-charge of investigation in the matter, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to complete investigation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
