ORDER
According to the petitioner, he is the licensee for collecting fees in the Keela Marat Street Market. This year license has been renewed by the respondents and the petitioner was directed to pay a sum of Rs.22,30,200/- on or before 31.03.2018 in a single payment. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 15.03.2018 seeking a relief to pay the amount in installments. So far no order has been passed on the above said representation of the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the amount sought by the respondents is very huge and he is not able to pay the same immediately in a single payment and seeks time to pay the amount.
3.The learned counsel for the respondents opposed the contention made by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that the respondents have renewed the license and also directed the petitioner to pay the said amount on or before 31.03.2018. If the petitioner has any grievance over that, the petitioner has to approach the respondents and he cannot file a writ petition seeking extension of time.
