: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments made in the Temple's property namely "Gomathiambal Sametha Thiripurantheeswarar (Sivan) Temple", Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District and consequently, directing the respondents to collect the arrears of rent from the said encroachers for the period of 60 years in the manner known to law.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments in the temple property.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 2, 4 & 7 submitted that the encroachments have already been removed and that the Kumbabisekam function is scheduled to be held on 23.04.2021.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, this writ petition stands closed, as no further order is required to be passed. No costs.
