ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give necessary police protection to the life 1/3

and limb of the petitioner, and his lands bearing survey Nos.11/9 and 11/6 and also the petitioner's 1/6th share of the well water in the well situated in survey No.11/4 in Thirumalapuram Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent police and the same is still pending.

3.Considering the above, second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 7 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, accordingly.
