ORDER

The petitioner took part in the Combined Subordinate Services Examination - I conducted by the respondent commission in the year 2010-2011. The petitioner is a Scheduled Caste candidate. He has also studied in Tamil Medium. Therefore, he is eligible to be considered under the PSTM category. Contending that he was not considered under the said category, this writ petition has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Commission submitted that the cut off mark fixed for the relevant category is 229.50 marks. However, the petitioner scored only 220.50 marks. Therefore, he did not reach the zone of consideration. He would also point out that the petitioner failed to enclose the PSTM Certificate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Looked at from any angle, the petitioner has not made out a case for grant of relief. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
