Heard both sides.

2. It is seen that Survey No.792/1, Thottiyampatty Panchayat measuring 0.84.5 ares has been classified as Mayanam. The petitioner appears to have occupied a portion of the same. He was rightly dispossessed. Interference is not warranted in respect of the action taken by the authorities. The petitioner however would allege that the authorities are attempting to reclassify the said land as "fgh;];jhd;". Such course of action cannot be permitted. The aforesaid land classified as "Mayanam" will continue to remain so. The contention of the petitioner's counsel is sustained. But no relief is given to the petitioner herein.

3. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
