ORDER
The petitioner seeks a Mandamus in the nature of a direction to the first respondent, namely, the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious & Endowments Board to dispose of O.P.No.1 of 2020, which had been filed by the petitioner on 26.12.2019. 2.It has been a long drawn litigation from the year 2001. Originally, a civil suit was filed. The matter was taken up before the First Appellate Court, Second Appellate Court and also before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. W.P(MD)No.4458 of 2020 the civil Court will not have jurisdiction. Therefore, they started a fresh round of litigation by approaching the first respondent. Now, the matter is pending in O.P.No.1 of 2020 before the first respondent/Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment at Tirunelveli.
3.It is represented that one of the parties has also entered appearance. Six months time is granted to dispose of O.P.No.1 of 2020. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to dispose of O.P.No.1 of 2020 on or before 31.08.2020. It is made clear that procedure in accordance with law should be followed including ensuring the presence of all parties after service of notice. 4.In view of the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
