PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 1st and 2nd Respondent Police to give necessary Police Protection to the Petitioner to carry out the removal of the river sand and remains of the erstwhile construction from S.No.172/3B2 to S.No.172/2E2 of Purakudikadu Village,, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2022.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the 1st and 2nd respondent Police to give necessary Police Protection to the petitioner to carry out the removal of the river sand and remains of the erstwhile construction from S.No.172/3B2 to S.No.172/2E2 of Purakudikadu Village,, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2022. 2.The respondents 3 to 9 are the rival claimants for the very same property. The petitioner has also filed a petition before this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.2065 of 2021 for the same relief and the same was closed on 11.02.2021 based on the instructions given by the respondent police that the allegations are civil in nature. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. In view of the same, the petitioner is not entitled for any police protection since the allegations are civil in nature and the petitioner ought to have approached the concerned Court for appropriate relief.
