ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 13.02.2025 and consequently direct the second respondent to take appropriate action on petitioner's representation made before the respondents.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the de facto complainant in this case and the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent police for the occurrence took place on 11.02.2025 but no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that already they received the complaint from the petitioner and thereafter, they assigned CSR No.42 of 2025 and the 2/5

same is under enquiry and they will complete the enquiry within a week and to act in accordance with law.

4. Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration by the second respondent and also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents assured that they will complete the enquiry within a week and to act in accordance with law, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order, by adopting the procedure established under law.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 20.02.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes BTR 3/5
