O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property comprised in Patta No. 411, Survey No.83/20B, measuring an extent of 1200 sq.ft., at Thondi Town Panchayat, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District with necessary police protection by the third respondent, by considering the petitioner's Application No.2025/12170/12796 dated 17.12.2025.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken by the first respondent to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 17.12.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any and that if required, the police assistance may be taken.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
