O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.1152/2 (1 Acre 52 Cents) 1153/5B (1 Acre 38 Cents) 1188/2A (37 Cents) and 1189/1A1 (67 Cents) situated at Thenkarai Village, Thenkarai Bit I Revenue Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, based on the petitioner's application dated 03.06.2025 vide No.2025/0123/25/004768 in accordance with law and consequently directing the fourth respondent to provide adequate police protection for conducting the survey. 2/6

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the properties comprised in S.No.1152/2 (1 Acre 52 Cents) 1153/5B (1 Acre 38 Cents) 1188/2A (37 Cents) and 1189/1A1 (67 Cents) situated at Thenkarai Village, Thenkarai Bit I Revenue Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. Despite repeated requests, the official respondents have not demarcated the land. The petitioner made application No.2025/0123/25/004768 dated 03.06.2025 requesting permission to survey the subject property. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the official respondents to survey the land within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that, after conducting an enquiry and recording the objections on either side, the respondents 1 to 3 shall 3/6

consider the petitioner's applications and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application No.2025/0123/25/004768 dated 03.06.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of Sixteen

(16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties and that if required, the police assistance may be taken. There shall be no order as to costs.
