Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioners seek cancellation of patta in respect of the petition mentioned land. The eighth respondent is directed to consider the same and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The eighth respondent will hear all the interested persons before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the eighth respondent to pass order one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
