PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to release the petitioner's Mini Bus bearing Registration TN 74Y 3800.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The writ petitioner is the owner of Mini bus bearing Registration No.TN 74 Y 3800. The same was detained by the respondent on account of some violation said to have been committed by the writ petitioner. The impounding took place way back in the year 2017.
4.Therefore, this Court is of the view that no purpose will be served by continuing to keep the detained vehicle in the custody of the respondent. The vehicle will only lose its value. The respondent shall release the vehicle and hand over the same to the petitioner forthwith without any further delay. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
