ORDER

According to the petitioner, the land in S.F.No.424/4 situated at Vellisanthai Village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanyakumari District belongs to the petitioner's mother-in-law, namely, Vijayalakshmi Ammal, and she executed a registered will deed in favour of her legal heirs. Subsequently, she died on 30.09.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner's wife was settled the property in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application dated 20.12.2017 before the 4th respondent seeking transfer of patta in his favour. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.12.2017, and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
