O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent herein to alter the First Information Report in Crime No.153 of 2017 by inserting Sections 307 and 506(ii) I.P.C., on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 19.07.2017 and to file a final report within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. In the complaint that was lodged by the petitioner against certain individuals, the petitioner has stated that there was an attempt to murder the petitioner by certain individuals. Though it is stated in its complaint that certain individuals tried to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

murder the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.153 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 341, 324, 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that based on the representation of the petitioner and after further enquiry, the case was altered for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 342, 294(b) and 307 I.P.C. He also produced the Alteration Report filed by the Inspector of Police, Peraiyur Taluk, dated 04.09.2017.
