Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The petitioner herein was originally recruited as Sub Inspector of Police. He is now serving as Inspector of Police. He wants the seniority to be fixed on par with the first batch based on the marks secured by him in the Police Training College. In this regard, he has given a representation on 13.02.2018. 4.This Court does not express any opinion on the merits of the matter. It is open to the Authority to pass orders on way or other.

5.The second respondent is directed to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2018 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.The Writ Petition stands disposed of as indicated above. No costs.
