ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side. This writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself by consent of both parties.

2.The petitioner is a retired government employee. He was working in the Revenue Department. The petitioner's contention is that he was entitled to get duty salary in the cadre of Assistant from 30.12.1994 till the date of his retirement namely 31.01.2009. In this regard, he already gave a representation dated 23.12.2017. The representation is presently pending with the first respondent. 3.The first respondent is directed to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2017 one way or the other, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
