O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pay the agricultural drought compensation amount for the period of 2018-2019 to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2026.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already sent a representation on 03.02.2026, seeking to pay the agricultural drought compensation amount for the period of 2018-2019. Since the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 2/4

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2026 will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
