ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner for their cultivation on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the cultivating tenant in the agriculatural punja lands in Thoothur Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukottai District. While so, the private respondents caused disturbance and life threat to the petitioner. Thereby, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 07.02.2025 for police protection and the same has not been considered. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents in respect of tenancy over the lands and they also received the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.02.2025 and now the same is under enquiry and they will complete the enquiry within 15 days.

4. In view of the above said representation made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents, this Court even without issuing notice to the private respondents inclined to dispose this petition by directing the third respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.02.2025, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of this order.

5. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
