O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's lands comprised in (i) Survey No.91/3A, measuring an extent of 0.17.50 Ares; (ii) Survey No.92/3D, measuring an extent of 0.36.00 Ares; and (iii) Survey No.92/3F1, measuring an extent of 0.30.50 Ares, situated at Thogaimalai Revenue Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the properties in question and for demarcation of the boundaries. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken by the first and second respondents to survey and demarcate the lands in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 01.02.2026, survey and demarcate the petitioner's lands after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twenty weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the lands, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any and that if required, the police assistance may be taken.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
