Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner is a College run by the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (ICM), Tiruchirapalli. It is a Society registered under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1860. The petitioner had applied to the first respondent seeking declaration of their minority status. The application was submitted way back on 18.07.2018. The first respondent appears to have been called for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

certain additional particulars through the Joint Director of College Education, Tirunelveli. According to the petitioner, the same has also been furnished. Now, the first respondent has to take a call in the matter.

3. This Court directs the first respondent to pass orders on the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order.
