This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti to proceed with the case expeditiously in C.C No. 49 of 2021 and dispose of the same within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the crime is of the year 2020 and cognizance of the offences was taken and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.49 of 2021 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti on 28.06.2021 and it is pending https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL.O.P (MD) No.4844 of 2022 without any progress for the last eight months. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks expeditiously trial. 4.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti, to complete the trial in C.C.No.49 of 2021 pending on his file within a period of six months from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on all hearings and cooperate for expeditiously trial. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
